What makes Artisan Flame so high-quality?

Each of our products is the result of meticulous handcraftsmanship. We don't use industrial bottling methods; instead, we inspect every candle and diffuser individually. We exclusively use high-quality containers in matte black, peach matte, matte white, or classic amber glass and combine them with premium fragrance compositions, which we select according to strict quality criteria.

Do you offer a recirculating system?

Yes! Instead of buying a new set each time, you can keep our high-quality diffuser vessels and refill them again and again with our refill bottles (50 ml to 250 ml). This saves resources, reduces waste, and is easier on your wallet. Please remember to use new reeds and wear protective gloves each time you change the fragrance.

Where does Artisanflame source its raw materials?

We value transparency and regional sourcing. Therefore, whenever possible, we source our raw materials from short supply chains within the EU. This not only supports the European economy but also saves unnecessary CO2 emissions from long transport routes.

How do I ensure that my candle burns safely?

Always place your candle on a flat, fireproof surface and ensure it is not in a draft or near flammable objects. Never leave it burning unattended. Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each lighting – this will prevent soot buildup and an excessively large flame.

Why should the candle melt all the way to the edge the first time?

To prevent unsightly "tunnels" from forming in the wax, let the candle burn until the entire surface is liquid the first time you use it. This is especially important with our 150 ml and 200 ml jars for an even burn.

How long can I let my candle burn?

We recommend a maximum burning time of 3 to 4 hours . If the glass gets too hot, it could crack. Extinguish the candle no later than when only about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom to protect the glass base from overheating.

How do I use the diffuser and refill bottles correctly?

Carefully pour the liquid into your diffuser container. Always wear suitable protective gloves to avoid direct skin contact with the concentrate. Take meticulous care to ensure nothing drips onto surfaces. If any spills occur, wipe them up immediately with a damp cloth!

Why should I wear gloves when changing or refilling?

Our Augeo-based fragrance blends are highly concentrated. To avoid skin irritation or allergic reactions, we recommend wearing protective gloves whenever you come into contact with the liquid or handle used reeds.

Why does my diffuser suddenly smell weaker?

This is usually because the pores of the reeds become clogged over time. It's best to turn the reeds over every 1-2 weeks. If you're using a refill bottle (50 ml, 100 ml, or 250 ml), be sure to replace the reeds in your diffuser so the fragrance is fully released again.

Is the liquid in the refill bottles dangerous?

We use vegan Augeo oil, but please note: the liquid must not be drunk and must be kept out of reach of children and pets. Always check the CLP (Communication, Protection, and Prevention) warnings on the label for safety.

What should I do if the diffuser fluid comes into contact with my skin?

Should any liquid come into contact with the skin despite the recommended use of protective gloves , immediately wash the area thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation persists, please consult a doctor and have the product label (CLP information) at hand.

How do I activate my car diffuser?

Your set is ready to use right away! We deliver the diffuser with two pre-soaked fragrance sponges . Simply clip the diffuser to a slat of your air vent. The airflow from your vent will gently distribute the fragrance throughout your car.

How can I control the fragrance intensity?

The intensity can be easily adjusted via your car's ventilation system: the stronger the airflow and the higher the temperature, the more intense the fragrance experience. If you want a break from the scent, simply close the corresponding vent.

How long does a scented sponge last?

Depending on the intensity of your ventilation, one sponge provides a pleasant freshness for several weeks. When the scent fades, you can simply insert the second replacement sponge included in the package.

How do I safely replace the sponge?

To replace the diffuser clip, please remove it completely from the air vent. Put on gloves to protect your skin , open the clip, and replace the dry sponge with a fresh one. This will also prevent fragrance oil residue from being transferred from your fingers to the steering wheel or dashboard.
